The city is so easy to get around, so clean and so friendly.  We walked, rode the tube and traveled out of town on a tour bus.  We saw all of the sights from the touristy London Eye to the educational National Gallery.  Would love to go back but still have so many other places on my travel list.

Tomorrow it is off to Tampa for a business meeting and then to Gainesville for some weekend fun!  Looking forward to seeing the new coaching staff in action.   Softball on Friday, Orange & Blue on Saturday and house hunting on Monday.

I love my new job.  I enjoying seeing the customers, adding the new products and traveling.   And it is nice to work from home…in my Gator slippers : )

Took five cats into the Neuter Scooter this week…still have three more to trap and spay/neuter.  I think they are all girls, luckily two are in my garage.  Trying to get the feral cat population under control isn’t easy.

Have been catching up on all of my tv shows, watched Castle three days in a row but am now on track.   Need to spend time watching a Merlin marathon as I am about four or five behind.  Have enjoyed watching Off the Map, and Hot In Cleveland  hope they come back next season.

Time to get to work…

March has gone by so fast…the third was our 20th anniversary, which we spent in Dallas.  We had a business meeting and decided to take the weekend to see family.  It was nice to see family from both sides.  Sam and Sabrina are growing up so fast.  They will soon be taller than me!  After Dallas, we were home for five days, which gave me time to catch up on all of my work and home stuff.  It is fun being on the road for meetings but the work piles up and it takes time to catch up.  We went to Fort Lauderdale for four days, again using the weekend to see family and friends.  Saturday night we saw Paul and Sandy for dinner.  We laughed so hard, some of the other patrons were getting  annoyed with us.  Sandy and Paul, who both talk with their hands spilled drinks.  The kitchen had a mishap so our dinner was delayed and we got free dessert.  The apple pie had Parmesan cheese in it.  Can you believe this was actually an upscale restaurant.  Still the food was good and the company great!  On Sunday, we met up Alissa at Casablanca.  She looks beautiful…turning 40 in a few weeks and looks 30.  Wonderful lunch on the beach, always a pleasure seeing her smiling face.  Sunday night we saw Foreigner in concert at the Hard Rock hotel.  New lead singer sounded just like the old one and made for a rockin’ show.  Monday we went out on the boat with Madeline and Howard.   Saw the strangest fish/ray, took a picture will post on facebook.  It was a very relaxing ride seeing all of the big homes.  Who lives in them and where do they make that much money?  Meeting on Tuesday, went great, hope to get all of our drop ship jewelry up on several sites.

Today, I have to clean the house, do laundry, work on pictures and pack.  Better get started!

Had a wonderful day shopping yesterday at Carson’s.  I got a pair of jeans, a pair of dress shorts, a casual dress, a 3/4 length sleeve sweater, a lace short sleeve shirt, a long cardigan, and a dressy twin shirt set all for $41.00.  Full retail price would have been $360.00.  You have to love an additional 80% off the already reduced price.  Best thing is I can wear all of these clothes for at least 3 more months and some of them all year round.

My mom and dad took us to the Warsaw Inn for dinner last night for our 20th anniversary.  I of course overate…4 pirogies, 2 cheese blintz, 1 stuffed cabbage, 1 piece of ham, 1 cup of celery dumpling soup, 1 paczki, and 1 bit of 4 other desserts.  I was sooooo full after dinner, came home and watched Castle and Fringe, fell asleep on the couch and didn’t exercise.

Looking forward to Tuesday, getting my hair highlighted and cut.  I feel so much better with “clean” hair.  My natural color is so dirty blonde, not pretty!

Had fun in LA last week…my first trip to the home office since I started the new job in January.  The owner of the company is so nice.  He took us to a fabulous dinner at WP24, Wolfgang Puck’s new restaurant on the 24th floor of the Ritz Carlton in downtown LA.  YUMMY!  Got to see my sister and brother in-law, enjoyed the Sage Room.  Had fun with Jordon and Sharon at a local Mexican restaurant.  Second adventure with sushi with customers from Eagle National Mint.  All and all a good time!

Leave for Dallas on Wednesday, can’t wait to see Sabrina and Sam.  Come home for 6 days and head out to Fort Lauderdale.  Home for a couple of days and go on vacation to London.  Booked all of our London excursions online last Thursday.  We are in for some historic fun : )

Today I met with Sportsman’s Guide…had lunch with the buyer and discussed getting the drop ship items online. I also submitted products to Walmart and researched how to be a supplier for Kohl’s and Bed Bath and Beyond. Took care of inventory issues with 6 drop ship customers and had dinner at Olive Garden with Eric.

It is so cold in Minneapolis…my nose hairs freeze as soon as I step outside. It is supposed to be just as cold tomorrow.

Found a Swedish cafe and bakery to go to tomorrow evening.

Watched The Vampire Diaries using my new phone and it’s 4G hot spot. So cool that my phone let’s me connect so that I can watch a show without all of the bumps and blips.

Not much going on at home…just trying to keep the kitties warm, inside and out, which isn’t easy with all of the snow.

Planned my London trip, now I have to reserve the day trips and tours. Looking forward to seeing a lot of history!

Set the alarm for 7:00 a.m. and got up, fed the cats and am now sitting at my desk.  I am ready to start making me facebook and twitter accounts but need to know what email address to use, so am waiting for Eric to wake up.  I already checked in for our flight tomorrow to Tampa.  We are going to see HSN.  After the meeting, I will need to set up all of the drop ship items.

Yesterday, I went to Carson’s and bought a few career pieces with my gift card that the Kolling staff gave me.  I got 2 pair of pants, a sweater jacket, a career jacket, a turtleneck sweater and a pair of shoes for under $100.00.  Turtleneck and shoes go with both pair of pants : )  Still have about $75 on my card so I can get a few more pieces.

Worked on the Overstock account last night from 9:30-10:30.  Great thing about working from home you can work odd hours and get things done.

I got my first real cell phone on Saturday…no more pay as you go with a phone the size of peanut.  I am now the owner of the HTC EVO 4G…of course Eric has to show me all of the bells and whistles because it is all new to me.  I still hate talking on the cell phone so only plan to use it for business…as I should since the company pays the bill : )

With my laptop, cell phone and rolling brief case I feel like a female version of a mini Eric, LOL!

Just remembered I still have to fill out my insurance paper work and my cell phone rebate, so I better get busy!

Friday, Eric and I leave for Utah. Flying in to Salt Lake City and then off to Park City. Staying at The Waldorf in Park City…skiing at Deer Valley. Monday first business meeting for new job even though I am not officially starting until January 20. Meeting with Overstocked.com. Packing tomorrow as ski clothes are always a pain to get together.

Bought new carry on and a wheeled brief case today. Should be getting my new laptop and phone soon. Will need them for second business meeting in NYC with The New York Times.com on January 20.

I will miss all of my Kolling friends, hopefully we will stay in touch. Only three days left at Kolling…wish I could have spent the last six there.

So I will begin the 2011 year with exciting changes in my life…

I resigned from the Lake Central School District.  My last day is January 19, 2011.  On January 20, I will begin a new career as Internet Marketing Sales Director for UPM Global.  I will be in charge of dot.com business and social media.  So be on the lookout for a new blog, facebook and twitter page soon.  I will be able to work out of the house, yeah no more 5:30 a.m. alarms for me!  I will also be traveling to see accounts.  My first travel date is January 14 to see Overstock.com. 

I am very excited about going back to work in the dot.com world.  I really enjoyed my time at Value America and hope I will be able to make my presence at UPM as successful.

Winter break has been great so far…ended 2010 with a trip to Charlottesville and NYC.  Got to see wonderful friends and family, eat at gourmet restaurants and stay at the Waldorf Astoria.  The second week of break was celebrating with family and relaxing at home.  I got great Christmas presents…clothes, boots, pjs, a new sling box, and gift certificates to Olive Garden and Outback, yum!

So the Gator coaching staff seems to be shaping up, rumors have been running wild.  I think the official announcements will come on Sunday or Monday.  Let’s Go Gators send Coach Meyer out with a win, beat Penn State!

It is funny how you forget that people will not always be here…I am guilty of thinking I can catch up tomorrow or next week or next month. So I was very happy last night when out of the blue I received a phone call from my favorite sister-in-law. We spoke for about an hour catching up with all we have been doing since we last spoke this past summer. Thank you Cindy for always making the effort and calling me.

My little cat family is growing and growing. Today I noticed one of the garage kitties is limping. I will watch him tomorrow and then make a decision about taking her to the vet. I hesitate because this has happened to two of my indoor cats and both were fine in about 48 hours but I still suffered a hefty vet bill…x- rays and pain shots.

I watched a good tear jerker on the Hallmark channel tonight, November Christmas. I would move into that sleepy little town in a New York minute. The town was filled with natural beauty, creeks and ponds, mountains and farms, main street USA and most of all generous, caring people. It moved me with all of it’s holiday charm.

Since school started I have attended 8 Gator games, had another skin surgery, shot a wedding, and had 9 cats spayed and neutered.

Gators record is 6-3…was present for all three loses.
Surgery went well and all borders are clear…stitches hurt coming out but at least I heal quickly.
Wedding shoot went great, pictures have all been edited and book is complete.
Cats are doing well, 6 are staying in the garage and 3 live outside in the cathouse.

Job is going good but I can’t do everything that I did last year, too hard with two schools. Sad that I don’t get to interact with the students very much but I enjoy the tech work.

Looking forward to game 9 this weekend against South Carolina. Have to wear blue and get intense as ordered by Urban…Go Gators!

Hoping the Gators got their act together and will pull out a win against LSU. Looking forward to seeing some Trey-mendous action on the field. Let’s hope only Gators get out alive tomorrow!

Relieved to hear the cops caught the Honeybee killer. Sorry it was a cop on disability…
School should come off of code yellow alert on Monday.

Sent out a wedding photography contract today, thanks Nancy : )
Wedding is on the 23rd. I am only contracted for a two hour shoot, although I will probably spend an hour or so editing afterward.
